More and more news coming from the tribes that brace for epic confrontations over the lands of Ancient Europe. Today our scouts have brought information both from the Roman Empire and the Viking territories, heralding few more significant changes in our world of Travian: Northern Legends.
Roman Legionnaire Training Reform |
The Roman legions are getting ready to defend against the Norse onslaught and therefore have enacted a significant legionnaire training reform. Responding to people’s concerns about the disappearance of spearmen with the Teutons withdrawal from the upcoming battle, the Romans seemingly have bolstered their ranks by recruiting spearmen into their legions which enhanced Roman anti-cavalry capabilities. *
New Legionnaire training ensured:
- Legionnaires’ defense against cavalry increased from 50 to 70.
- Base training time was reduced from 26:40 to 22:40.
- Movement speed increased from 6 to 7 fields per hour.

The legions stand ready, stronger and more efficient, prepared to counter the threats wherever they come from!
*These changes apply only to worlds where Vikings replace Teutons.
Respawn feature coming to Northern Legends |
The Viking scouts have also delivered news of a groundbreaking addition coming to Travian: Northern Legends — the Respawn Feature. This new feature allows warriors to start anew with a fresh avatar and village location in the same gameworld at once if their initial choices prove insufficient.
Key Highlights:
- Possibility to abandon your current avatar and create a new one in the same gameworld within the same lobby account.
- Possibility to select a different map quarter, tribe, and avatar name with that.
- Unspent purchased gold transfers automatically to the new avatar.
This feature is planned to get tested first on Closed Beta Travian: Northern Legends.
