It’s November again! And that means it’s time for our annual “Quality of Life” improvements series. In this summary we gathered some new features that already made their way into regular gameworlds as well as new upcoming exciting ones. Enjoy reading!
Hero and hero items improvements
➡️ When finding a horse during an adventure your Hero now equips it automatically to ride it home and the travel time is adjusted.
➡️ Hero status icon will give more information about what hero does now. This information will include which village hero reinforces, whether hero is trapped or being revived (with time of revival).
➡️ It will now be possible to enable Tablets of Law use pop-up even if the village is currently at its maximum loyalty. This dialogue window is often used to prevent from conquering attempt by increasing loyalty with Tablets of Law at the exact second.
➡️ When you relocate your hero to another village and select to make it a new home, the information about this will be visible directly in the troop movement the whole time while hero is on the way.
Combat simulator
➡️ Combat simulator results include information about the damage received by each hero in the simulation.
➡️ When you simulate the battle from unoccupied oasis page or from the report, and then click on “Send button” there, the Rally point will be opened with pre-filled coordinates already.
General statistics
➡️ Your ranking is now displayed in the top 10 ranking statistics even if you are not in the top 10. The top 10 statistics are calculated once an hour and the player/alliance ranking is calculated on the go.
➡️ Shores of War: The server progress bar in the general statistics show a number of new achievements, in addition to the player who first settled their second village:
- Alliance that controlled the most regions by 30% of the duration of the gameworld.
- Alliance that had the most Victory Points by 60% of the duration of the gameworld.
Village overview (Travian Plus feature)
➡️ Culture Points tab in the village overview now include the information from Residence/Palace about the next available settlement slot.
➡️ Troops tab in the village overview show the total attack and defence strength of all troops in each village. Also the layout was improved to make better use of space.
Map
➡️ We improved the way game handles the map pop-up with details of a specific position. Opening any place of the map will change the URL of the game to include that position. This means that for example if you open a combat simulator from an oasis detail on the map, then use back button of browser to go back to the map, it will open with the oasis details shown.
➡️ Shores of War: The map in the 10% zoom level will show alliance banners over regions, showing which alliance controls the region.
Miscellaneous
➡️ Vacation mode description in game will specify that trade routes will be inactive during vacation.
➡️ When a player selects to join an alliance, they will receive a confirmation pop-up informing them about 24h cooldown period.
➡️ The avatar age is added to the player profile.
➡️ The battle result indicator (green, yellow and red swords in report list) will now take into consideration trapped troops. If some of players’ troops were trapped and not released, it will now show yellow crossed swords instead of green. If all troops were trapped, the swords will be red.
