The Travian: Legends team has decided to halt the Ambassador Program for 2022.
Originally, the program was intended to offer expert players, elected by their communities, the opportunity to submit ideas and suggestions at Travian Games’ offices in Munich, face to face with the game team. This one-week on-site event was designed to facilitate discussion about the game, possible improvements, and new features that could be developed.
Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic forced us to cancel this event and adjust to restrictions in the past two years. We had some successful discussions during the last year, for example on the watchtower adjustments, 4.6 balancing, and alliance troop management. However, the digital program wasn’t tailored to everyone’s needs – for both game developers and players.
Consequently, we will use 2022 to evaluate the program requirements and objectives for both Travian Games and the community.
We want to thank the ambassadors for their time, effort, and dedication to the community over the past years. Ambassadors will remain Travian Games’ points of contact until next year, if they wish. Moreover, depending on changes to the program, we may recruit new ambassadors toward the end of the year.
The Travian: Legends team is currently working on the mobile app as well as many new features for 2022. Of course, decisions made by the Ambassadors in 2021 or prior years will still be considered for development by the game team.
