Tides of Conquest – Common statistics by Életfa

Dear readers!

I played on the ToC Europe 2x, but I have also downloaded the map file of all ToC 2x servers every week and I created some statistic, and maps.

Statistics

Number of the players on the servers

Number of the clans on the servers

Number of the villages on the servers

Population of the servers

Victory Points of the servers

Analysing

The reduction of the players: 5-7%*speed/week, whatever happened on the server.

Based on the statistics, but mainly on the map changes week by week, I see the following: a healthy ToC (types, recently the GoS) server requires at least two prime allies, and scattered allies with half of the prime allies population. In this definition: there are the prime allies which are in competition to win the server; and the scatter allies, which can not win the server, but have enough power to occupy and hold regions. The reason: if only one prime ally stays on the server, it will end without any challenge, and the scatter allies get a balanced ability among the prime allies in their oppositions (it is not a conscious by the scatter allies). Without this balance, the difference between the prime ally can grow very rapidly, and only one of them remains within a few weeks.

Strategics

Prime allies: the first step is to build the core of the account, and after that spread around the map. These allies supress their opponents.
Scatter allies: gather the regions that they can. For them, the VP is the main weapon to rise from the mass – both on ally and on individual level.

Maps and brief histories

Sorted by server ending

Arabics

Domination week by week

At the begining, it was the second greatest server, but only 2 prime allies fought for the victory: TW, and HD. One and half week after the start, TW disappeared and a new ally, ERA took their place. But only for a month, after that they fall back to nothing. After this, HD owned more than half of the server’s power, there was nobody who could threat their victory.

The official end result.

America

Domination week by week

Similar to Arabics, two allies fought with each other for the victory: GAMES and Legions. But unlike Arabics, this war lasted over the whole server. The apperant difference is imperceptible at the end of June, when the last scatter ally disappered from the map, and Legion began to overlord the ally GAMES.

The official end result.

Europe

Domination week by week

I have played on this server.
This was bigger than the others: there were 5 prime allies, and countless scatter allies (15 allies had at least one region)in the first half of the server time. But for one of them it lasted only for 1 week, then it disappeared. Two weeks later the leader ally began to decay and one month later the final victorious ally took the first place.

The official end result.

Asia

Domination week by week

One of my mates played on this server.
Two prime allies fought for the the victory in the first half of the server time, and most of the scatter allies were in confederancy with them:

The two prime allies were very close to each other until VN ran out of their confideracy members and ally UNI could claim the first place on the last week.
