Travian: Path To Pandora ~ Game Mechanics

Let’s have a look at the main game features of Path to Pandora 😉 You can check the full list here. And the balancing changes here.

The basic features are the same we had in Travian: Fire and Sand, including:

  • Ancient Europe map, sized 401×401, except for IR, SA, Arabia, COM and TR which will instead have a bigger map spanning 801×801
  • 87 conquerable regions that produce victory points
  • Troop forwarding and troop merging
  • The server is won by having the highest number of victory points after 200 days

3 Questions with Mel, Concept Artist ~ New Buildings in Path to Pandora

If you already registered your account on one of our Travian: Path to Pandora servers or if you played our Closed Beta in August, you might have noticed something different in your villages.

Yes, you got it right. Every tribe has its own specific art for the buildings. 

Why did we do that? We wanted to capture the individual flair of those ancient civilizations. And they certainly did not look the same.

If you read about the new game mechanics, you will know that despite only being allowed to play one account per round, you will still be able to see all this amazing new artwork. Our Game Designers have decided to change the basic mechanics of conquering and make things more interesting. When you conquer another tribe’s village in Path to Pandora, the village will not change tribe type, except for the Natars.

Interview with Kaj, 2D Artist ~ New Buildings in Path to Pandora

As you may know, one of the most exciting features of the upcoming annual special, Travian: Path to Pandora, is that every tribe will have its own specific art for the buildings. A major visual overhaul provides each tribe with a new look for their buildings to capture the individual flair of those ancient civilizations.
