Have you recently joined one of our Path to Pandora gameworlds? Since 2014, our Annual Specials take place on a map of Ancient Europe divided into 87 regions… but do you know exactly how this system works?
If you are a new player or if you have only played on WW (Wonder of the World) standard gameworlds and you would like to experiment something different, you have come to the right place! Read More
Let’s have a look at the main game features of Path to Pandora 😉 You can check the full list here. And the balancing changes here.
The basic features are the same we had in Travian: Fire and Sand, including:
- Ancient Europe map, sized 401×401, except for IR, SA, Arabia, COM and TR which will instead have a bigger map spanning 801×801
- 87 conquerable regions that produce victory points
- Troop forwarding and troop merging
- The server is won by having the highest number of victory points after 200 days
These are the special features for Travian: Path to Pandora which we’ve kept from last year.
Our Path To Pandora game worlds are back in March… with double the speed!
More details will follow, so… stay tuned! 😉
In the meantime, revise the game mechanics here.
And don’t forget about the balancing changes that were introduced in January!
The northern winds blew harder than ever from the icy peaks surrounding the Travian valley. This meant – for the second time since last year – that an extremely cold winter had once again arrived. They spent days huddled around fireplaces, which – to their regret – couldn’t provide enough warmth to stave off the cold that held everywhere firmly in its grip.
Even the most provident villagers, who took, as they thought, necessary precautions after the last year’s winter, frowned as they looked at the scarce resources. They were dwindling day by day, especially the wood and crop supplies. Read More
If you already registered your account on one of our Travian: Path to Pandora servers or if you played our Closed Beta in August, you might have noticed something different in your villages.
Yes, you got it right. Every tribe has its own specific art for the buildings.
Why did we do that? We wanted to capture the individual flair of those ancient civilizations. And they certainly did not look the same.
If you read about the new game mechanics, you will know that despite only being allowed to play one account per round, you will still be able to see all this amazing new artwork. Our Game Designers have decided to change the basic mechanics of conquering and make things more interesting. When you conquer another tribe’s village in Path to Pandora, the village will not change tribe type, except for the Natars.
But let’s hear more about these buildings from Mel, our Concept Artist.
