Let’s take a break from raiding, planning strategies, building walls, and sending heroes on far-away adventures—at least for a moment. Here you don’t have to worry about all that. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Alejandro, and I am probably the rookiest person in the Travian: Legends community. Apart from being a newbie, I am one of the guys posting stuff (sometimes memes) on the official Travian: Legends Facebook and Twitter accounts. So if you are still reading this, please say hi whenever you have the chance!
So… Beginner’s Protection. That is indeed one of the very first things you encounter in Travian: Legends. I like the name and how it allows you to explore the game at a different pace before the action takes place. With that idea in mind, I chose Beginner’s Protection to be the name of this column. How do you like it?
In the last couple of months, I have been reading your comments on Social Media, trying to understand this long-lasting community. It’s not an easy thing to do, I must admit. 😅 That is to say, the topics covered in Beginner’s Protection will vary. I have a rough idea of what you may consider relevant, but as you know, I am still learning the ropes, and many things won’t go as planned. So, if you have any suggestions or topics that you would like featured in Beginner’s Protection, you now know where to find me!
With the coming of the Spartans and all that, I think it makes sense to tackle their arrival as the first blog post of this series. There might not be a second chance to do it, so it’s now or never! Some of your first reactions were joyful, ingenious, thoughtful, or critical towards the Spartans. I know: bringing a new tribe to a game is a big deal. It feels exhilarating to be part of this unique moment in the history of Travian: Legends. After reading all your comments, I came up with a brief list that includes great quotes from the community.
