What is your name/nickname?
Hi my names is Alexei Smirnov.
Are you still in school, a student or working already?
I am currently working in International marketing, but planning to go back to school this fall.
Where are you from or where do you live now?
I am from Russia, but live in the USA. Althought, my job takes me to Russia, England and the US.
For how long have you been playing Travian? Is there a favorite server that you prefer to play?
I have been playing travian since January, 2006 and I love playing speed 3 servers. Comx used to be the best.
Do you play a solo account or do you have a team you’re playing together with?
I usually play with duals, mostly they are the same for the last 3 – 4 years, but also have sitters that I know in real life. But my best accounts are solo accounts.
Do you have a favorite tribe that you always play with?
I play offensively, and my favorite tribe is Club, i mean teuton. Nothing beats the power of the clubswinger!
Is your game offensive or defensive-based?
Of course an offensive-based style!
How much time do you spend on Travian per day?
I play sometimes up to 10-16 hours a day, this game is my life at time! OMG.
Do you play other games apart from Travian?
I play League of Legends, and Battle Field 4.
Which external tools do you use for Travian?
I use gettertools for the calculations, I think the in game calculator is not the best one, or the most accurate. Those Russians got it right.
What is the biggest challenge in Travian for you?
Biggest challange is the Meta game of travian and the player base hudling together. It’s hard to explain to people why WW, and Zerg mentality is killing the best skill in people.
What’s the most fun for you in-game?
Most fun is the beggining/mid game where resources are scarce and every 100% raid is a win!
What do you think about the changes to Travian and why do you think that?
I believe the changes are absolutely amazing and make the game better for new and old players alike.
Are you active on the Travian forum?
I am no longer active on the forums, even thought i racked up 1,800 posts in 4 years.
Something you always wanted to share with the community?
We come back to Travian, not just for the game, but for the community and for other people, those sleepless nights and the fun skype chats. < community.
